Peacocks are large, colorful pheasants (typically blue and green) and known for their iridescent tails.
The male is properly called a peacock, the female a peahen, and the immature offspring peachicks.
Type               : Bird
Diet                : Omnivore
Average life span in the wild: 20 years
Size                 : Body, 90 to 130 cm
                        :
Tail, 1.5 m

The colorful tail of the Peacock is fanned out to be able to show dominance and for the purpose of attracting a mate. They live in groups and the male will often have several females around him.
Males will do all they can to get the attention of females for mating. A male may display his feathers and prance around to get the female attracted to him. Once mating has occurred the female will find materials to create a nest. The males will go looking for other females that they can also mate with.
species
1.     The Indian peacock

H
as iridescent blue and green plumage.
H
as a mixture of dull grey, brown, and green in her plumage.
The "eyes" are best seen when the peacock fans its tail.
The female also displays her plumage to ward off female competition or signal danger to her young.
2.     A green peafowl

Unlike the Indian peafowl, the green peahen is similar to the male, only having shorter upper tail coverts, a more coppery neck, and overall less iridescence.
The Congo peacock male does not display his covert feathers but uses his actual tail feathers during courtship displays. These feathers are also much shorter than those of the Indian and green varieties.
3.     A leucistic Indian peacock

Occasionally peafowl appear with white plumage. Although albino peafowl do exist, this is quite rare and almost all white peafowl are not, in fact, albinos in peafowl, causes a complete lack of pigment in their plumage but still leaves them with blue eyes.
True albino peafowl have a complete lack of melanin and therefore have white plumage but also an albino's characteristic red or pink eyes. Leucistic peachicks are born yellow and become fully white as they mature.
The Peacock feeds on a variety of food items. Grain is on of the most common items that they eat.
They will also consume fruits and seeds that they find but those items aren’t always available year round for them to consume.
They consume plants, petals, small reptiles, and even amphibians.

Kalasan Temple

Kalasan temple located on the southern main road between the cities of Yogyakarta and Solo, approximately 2 Km from the Prambanan Temple compound, is kalasan temple, believed to be the oldest Buddhist temple in Central Java and Yogyakarta, even predating the colossal Borobudur Temple in Magelang.
Administratively , the Kalasan Temple is situated in the Kali Bening area, in the Tirtomantani Village, Kalasan Sub-District, Sleman regency, in the Province of Yogyakarta.
The temple stands on a 45x45 meters rectangular base. Each of the four main cardinal points has stairs and gates adorned with Kala-Makara and also rooms measuring 3.5 square meters.
The Kalasan Temple faces east, with the east room also serving as the access to the main central room. In the larger main room there is a lotus pedestal and a throne carved with makara, lion, and elephant figures, similar to the Buddha Vairocana throne found in the Mendut temple. According to the Kalasan inscription, the temple once housed the large (probably reaching 4 meters tall) statue of the Boddhisattvadevi Tara. From the design of the throne, it is most likely that the statue of the goddess was in a seated position and was made of bronze.
